Stockpile Data Breach Settlement: Deadline Passed October 6, 2026

The notice does not say what records, if any, you must provide with the claim form or precisely how the administrator will decide whether a claim is valid. It only requires a complete and valid, timely claim form.

• You must be in the Settlement Class: generally, your personal information must have been compromised in the 2020 data breach against Stockpile.
• You are excluded if you are a defendant or within the listed defendant-related groups, an assigned judge or immediate family member, or if you timely opt out.
• To seek payment, you must submit a complete and valid claim form on time.

• Submit a completed claim form online by October 6, 2026.
• Or download a claim form and mail it to the Settlement Administrator. A mailed form must be postmarked by October 6, 2026.
• Mail claim forms to: Stockpile Data Settlement Administrator, Attn: Claim Forms, 1650 Arch Street, Suite 2210, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

The notice does not promise that each claimant will receive $90. The actual amount depends on the available Net Settlement Amount and the number of timely, valid claims.

• Valid, timely claimants share the Net Settlement Amount equally.
• The payment is capped at $90 per participating class member.
• The Net Settlement Amount is what remains from the $600,000 fund after any court-approved attorney fees, litigation expenses, class representative service payment, and administration expenses. Administration expenses may be up to $47,500.

The notice does not state the Award Issuance Date or give a date when payments will be sent. The Court still must decide whether to approve the proposed settlement.

• If you receive an Individual Class Payment, you have 180 calendar days from the Award Issuance Date to cash or redeem it.
• If you do not do so in that time, the payment becomes void.
• Uncashed, cancelled, or leftover money is to be sent to Privacy Rights Clearinghouse after class claims are paid.

Leaving the settlement means you will not receive a settlement payment and cannot object, but you will not be bound by this case. The notice says you may be able to file your own case.

• To leave the settlement, mail a request for exclusion to the Settlement Administrator. It must be postmarked by October 6, 2026.
• The request must reasonably communicate that you want to be excluded and include your name, address, and email address or telephone number.
• Mail it to: Stockpile Data Settlement Administrator, Attn: Opt Outs, P.O. Box 58220, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

You may attend the Final Approval Hearing and make an oral objection without first filing a written objection or notice of appearance. The hearing is scheduled for November 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., though the notice says the date may change.

• You may object if you do not opt out. Your written objection must be mailed by October 6, 2026 to the address for objections.
• It must include your signature, name and current address, why you say you are a class member, the reasons and supporting legal authority and evidence for the objection, and information about lawyers assisting with the objection.
• The notice also requires certain information about prior class-settlement objections by you or your lawyer when payment was sought or received for dismissing an objection or related appeal without a settlement change.
