Editorial policy

Useful summaries, clear sources, and corrections when information changes.

Our sources

Official settlement notices, claim forms, administrator websites, and court documents are the primary references for eligibility, benefits, deadlines, and claim instructions. Source links are provided on settlement pages so readers can check the underlying terms.

How to read our summaries

We organize source information into plain-language sections. A summary is not the complete settlement agreement. Exceptions, proof requirements, allocation formulas, and changes in the case may affect a reader's eligibility or payment.

Tools, including automated extraction and AI-assisted drafting, may help prepare content. They do not replace official documents. Material facts should be checked against those sources; readers can report errors through our contact page.

Amounts and deadlines

We distinguish estimates, maximum benefits, and pro rata payments. An advertised maximum is not a guaranteed payment. A total settlement fund is not the amount each claimant receives. We aim to distinguish a claim deadline from objection, exclusion, and hearing dates.

Updates and corrections

Pages include an update or review date where available. That date is not a guarantee that later court or administrator updates are already reflected. Expired listings remain available for reference and should not be treated as invitations to file a late claim.

When reporting a possible error, include the page URL and an official supporting source. Corrections should address the affected statement and related amounts, deadlines, or instructions elsewhere on the site.

Independence

Advertising, when displayed, is separate from settlement information. An advertisement is not an official claim link or a recommendation to use a particular service. We do not promise eligibility, a particular outcome, or payment.
