What will class members receive if they stay in the settlement?
Class members who do not opt out receive both the $40 payment and the monitoring-service benefit. The notice also describes company security measures; it does not describe those measures as an individual payment.

Do I need to file a claim or provide documents to receive the benefits?
No claim form or supporting documents are required for the $40 check or the monitoring benefit. You must not opt out.
You need to use the enrollment code to enroll in Financial Shield Complete. The notice says codes were sent by postcard. If yours is missing, contact the Settlement Administrator for a replacement.
When will I receive the check and be able to use the monitoring service?
The check and monitoring service are not available yet. They depend on the Court giving final approval and on any appeals being resolved. The notice does not provide a payment date because it is unknown whether appeals will be filed or how long they could take.
There is no claim deadline because no claim form is required.
What happens if I opt out, and how do I do it?
Opting out means leaving the settlement. You would receive no settlement benefits or payment, but you would keep any rights you may have to bring your own case against Olinsky about the issues in this lawsuit.
- Include your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, if any.
- Sign the request yourself.
- State “Request for Exclusion” or clearly say that you do not want to participate.
- Mail it to the Settlement Administrator so it is postmarked by October 26, 2026.
What rights do I give up if I stay in the settlement?
If you remain in the settlement, you give up the right to take part in another lawsuit against Olinsky about the issues the settlement covers. The notice points to Section IX of the Settlement Agreement for the complete list of released claims.
Can I object to the settlement or attend the court hearing?
You may object only if you stay in the settlement. An objection must be mailed to the Settlement Administrator and postmarked by October 26, 2026. The notice requires identifying information, proof that you are a class member, your reasons, and other specified information.
The final approval hearing is scheduled for December 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Syracuse, New York. You do not have to attend. The notice says the hearing date or time may change.
