European Wax Center Website Privacy Settlement

What is this settlement about?

• The lawsuit concerns allegations that information was disclosed to third parties through pixels, cookies, code, and tracking or analytics tools on the European Wax Center website without permission.
• European Wax Center denies wrongdoing. The Court has not decided who is right.

Who is included, and who is excluded?

• You may be included if you are a U.S. resident and visited www.waxcenter.com at any time from June 30, 2023 through April 2, 2026. This includes, but is not limited to, people who booked an appointment on that website.
• The notice excludes the judge or magistrate handling the case and their families; European Wax Center and the listed related companies and personnel; people who timely leave the settlement; and the legal representatives, successors, or assigns of excluded people.

How much could I receive?

• A class member with an approved claim may receive up to $10.
• The actual payment may be reduced on an equal-share basis if there is not enough money available for all approved claims after the other permitted uses of the fund.

How do I request a payment, and do I need documents?

• Complete and submit a Claim Form online, or print and mail a paper Claim Form.
• The claim must be submitted online or postmarked by June 30, 2026.
• The notice requires a valid Claim Form but does not say whether supporting documents are required or identify the information needed for a claim to be approved.

When would payments be sent?

• The Court must first approve the settlement. Claims approved by the Settlement Administrator are paid after final approval and/or after any appeal process is complete.
• The notice does not provide a specific payment date.

What happens if I do nothing?

• If you do nothing, you will not receive a payment.
• Unless you timely exclude yourself, you will give up the right to sue European Wax Center and the Released Parties over the claims released by this settlement, even if you do not file a claim.

How do I leave the settlement instead of participating?

• To leave the settlement, mail or deliver a written exclusion request by June 30, 2026.
• The request must give your name and address, signature, the case name and number, and a statement that you want to be excluded.
• Someone who leaves cannot submit a claim for this settlement payment, but keeps any rights they otherwise have to sue over the released claims.

Can I object to the settlement?

• You may object only if you remain in the settlement class. An objection tells the Court why you disagree with the settlement; it does not remove you from it.
• A written objection must be filed with the Court by June 30, 2026. The notice also requires a copy to be delivered to Class Counsel and European Wax Center’s counsel.
• The notice lists detailed content requirements for an objection, including your identifying information, a basis for claiming class membership, reasons and supporting material, and information about lawyers assisting with the objection.

Do I need to attend the court hearing?

• The Final Approval Hearing is scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
• You do not have to attend. If you want to speak, you must ask the Court for permission, and the notice describes additional filing requirements for people who object and intend to appear.
• The hearing may be moved without notice. The notice says a person who timely objected and told the Court they intend to appear will receive notice of a change.
