Columbus Regional patient portal settlement claim deadline is September 19
Indiana patients who used a Columbus Regional Health patient portal during the covered period may have little time left to request the settlement’s cash benefit. The official settlement site lists September 19, 2026 as the deadline for online and mailed claims.
The lawsuit alleged that Columbus Regional shared patient information with third-party website technologies without consent. Columbus Regional denies wrongdoing, and the settlement does not decide which side was right.
Who may be included
The formal class definition covers Columbus Regional patients who live in Indiana and logged into a patient portal account from November 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022. The notice’s opening description also refers to patients who completed portal sign-up or registration before logging in. Because the notice uses both descriptions, anyone unsure whether registration affects membership should confirm with the settlement administrator.
What the settlement offers
- A $25.50 cash payment for class members who submit a timely, valid claim.
