SpotHero Map View Settlement: Automatic Credit Voucher and Cash Election

The settlement is limited to people who meet all of the purchase, location, date, and Map View conditions in the notice.

• You must have bought at least one parking reservation through SpotHero’s website or app between July 1, 2024, and March 13, 2025, while in California.
• You also must have used the “Map View” option to search for the parking spot.
• Some people and entities are excluded, including timely opt-outs, government entities, SpotHero and certain related people or businesses, the parties’ lawyers, certain court-related people, and people or entities that previously released SpotHero over the same allegations.

Eligible members can receive their settlement benefit as either a credit voucher or cash, depending on whether they submit a valid claim form.

• If you do nothing, you are to receive a SpotHero wallet credit automatically.
• If you submit a valid Claim Form by August 25, 2026, you are to receive the benefit as a check or electronic payment instead.
• These are alternatives, not two separate benefits. The notice says the benefit amount is the same whether paid as cash or credit.

The notice does not promise a set payment for each person. It gives only an estimated average.

• The notice estimates that the average benefit will be about $4.76.
• Your own amount may be higher or lower, based on the service fees you paid during the class period.
• The notice describes a total of $975,000 in settlement benefits for class members. Notice and administration costs, approved attorneys’ fees and expenses, and any approved award to the class representative do not reduce that benefit amount.

These rules apply if you receive the automatic credit voucher rather than cash.

• A credit voucher can be used for any SpotHero purchase, including applicable taxes or fees.
• It expires 36 months after distribution.
• It may be combined with other SpotHero discounts, offers, or credits for which you otherwise qualify.
• If you use only part of it on an order, the unused balance remains available for future orders.

The notice supplies the cash-benefit deadline but not the claim-form procedure.

• Submit a valid Claim Form by August 25, 2026.
• A valid claim changes the form of the benefit from the automatic wallet credit to a check or electronic payment.
• This notice does not say how to get the form, where to send it, or whether it may be submitted online or by mail. It also does not state what documentation, if any, is needed for a claim.

Excluding yourself, also called opting out, means leaving the settlement. You will not receive settlement compensation, but this is the option that preserves your ability to sue SpotHero yourself over the claims in this case.

• Mail an exclusion request postmarked by July 26, 2026.
• The letter must give your name, address, and phone number; be personally signed by you; and include the exact requested exclusion statement identified in the notice.
• Mail it to: SpotHero Settlement Administrator, ATTN: Exclusion Request, P.O. Box 58220, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

Objecting means asking the Court not to approve the proposed settlement. It is different from excluding yourself: people who opt out cannot object.

• Mail a written objection to the Settlement Administrator, postmarked by July 26, 2026.
• The objection must identify the case, give your contact information, state your reasons, include the listed supporting materials if applicable, show class membership or include the required signed statement under penalty of perjury, and be signed.
• You may remain in the settlement and still object. If the settlement is approved, an objecting class member remains eligible for a settlement benefit.

The settlement has not yet received final court approval, and the notice does not give a specific distribution date.

• The Final Approval Hearing is scheduled for September 18, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. PT.
• It is scheduled in Department N-29 at the San Diego North County Courthouse, 325 South Melrose Drive, Vista, California 92081.
• Benefits will be distributed only if the Court approves the settlement and any appeals are resolved in favor of the settlement. The hearing date may change.
