Schnucks Missouri Rewards Tax Settlement
Schnucks agreed to settle claims that Missouri stores charged sales tax on the pre-discount price when Rewards members redeemed points instead of on the discounted price. Schnucks denies wrongdoing and liability, and the court has not decided the claims.
Benefit Summary
Each eligible class member who submits a timely valid Claim Form will receive $7. Schnucks also agreed to modify its Missouri point-of-sale system by March 31, 2027 so Rewards point redemptions reduce the subtotal before sales tax is calculated.
