The proposed settlement covers people who owned a Keurig K-Supreme, K-Supreme Plus or K-Supreme SMART coffee maker that suddenly and permanently lost power during descaling: a cash payment of up to $250 for machines affected within the first twelve months of purchase between October 1, 2020 and June 20, 2025, or a twelve-month extension of the Keurig Limited Warranty. The cash claim window closed on November 14, 2025. The extended-warranty route stays open until September 30, 2027 for a machine that first shows the fault after June 20, 2025, and the court has not yet given final approval.

The settlement has two separate classes: a Performance Issue Claim Class for certain people with qualifying descaling-related operational issues, and a Coffee Maker Purchaser Class for certain purchasers of a covered Coffee Maker or Descaling Solution. Each class has exclusions.
- Products included: Keurig K-Supreme, K-Supreme Plus, and K-Supreme SMART single-serve coffee makers; Descaling Solution for use with the Coffee Makers.
- Purchase window: October 1, 2020 through June 20, 2025
- Proof required: The notice says claimants generally need their name and address, documents proving purchase or an operational malfunction during descaling, and information required under Keurig’s Limited Warranty Claims Procedure. Questions & Answers
Are the cash payment and extended warranty available to the same people?
The settlement separates people into two classes. The Performance Issue Claim Class is for certain people who had a qualifying descaling-related problem and may seek cash. The Coffee Maker Purchaser Class is for purchasers of a covered coffee maker or descaling solution who may seek the extended warranty.
You cannot be in the purchaser class if you are in the Performance Issue Claim Class. People who reported the defect and already received a Limited Warranty remedy are also excluded from the purchaser class.
Who can seek the cash payment?
The cash benefit is only for Performance Issue Claim Class Members. This includes certain U.S. people who complained to Keurig about the defect within the first 12 months after purchase and did not receive a Limited Warranty remedy, as well as certain people who can show a valid claim involving operational issues connected with descaling.
People whose coffee makers are still covered by Keurig’s original or specified extended Limited Warranty are excluded from this class.
Why might my cash payment be less than $250?
The cash payment is not guaranteed to be $250. Eligible claimants who submit a timely, complete form and required documentation share the money left in the fund after specified settlement costs, fees, and awards. No individual payment can exceed $250.
The notice says the payment amount also depends on the number of people who exclude themselves from the settlement.
What does the extended warranty cover, and when must I claim it?
The extended warranty is for Coffee Maker Purchaser Class Members. It covers a claim that a defect caused an operational issue that permanently cut power to the coffee maker during descaling. It is not described as a general extra warranty for every problem.
If the qualifying permanent power loss had already happened by June 20, 2025, the claim form deadline is November 14, 2025. If it first happens after June 20, 2025, the deadline is September 30, 2027.
What do I need to submit with a claim?
For either benefit, submit a complete Claim Form online or by mail. Cash claims must be submitted or postmarked by November 14, 2025.
The notice says claimants generally need identifying information, documents showing purchase or a descaling-related operational malfunction, and information required by Keurig’s Limited Warranty Claims Procedure. It does not list every item required by that warranty procedure in the notice itself.
When would cash payments be sent?
If the settlement receives final approval, eligible class members are to be paid after final approval and any appeal process. The notice does not give a specific payment date.
Payments are normally sent by check unless another method is chosen. A check becomes void 180 days after it is issued.
What happens if I do nothing or choose to exclude myself?
Doing nothing keeps you in a settlement class, but you will not receive a cash payment or warranty benefit unless you submit a timely, valid claim form. If you remain in the settlement, you give up the right to bring or continue a lawsuit against Keurig and related parties over the claims resolved here.
To leave the settlement, send a signed exclusion request with your name, address, case name and number, and a statement that you want to be excluded. It must be postmarked by August 29, 2025. Someone who excludes themselves cannot receive either settlement benefit.
