# Class Action Tracker

> Class Action Tracker is an independent information website covering U.S. class action settlements. It publishes plain-language case summaries, news, and links to source notices and official settlement websites.

The site is not a court, law firm, or settlement administrator. It does not determine eligibility, submit claims for readers, or issue settlement payments. The applicable official notice, court orders, and settlement administrator provide the controlling information.

The directory contains current and historical case pages. Inclusion in the directory does not by itself mean a claim can still be filed. A future date can be an objection, exclusion, or other deadline rather than a claim deadline. A date not stated in a source remains unknown.

Benefit amounts can be estimates, maximums, or different payment options. A total settlement fund is not an individual payout. Document requirements, signed statements, notice codes, and automatic payments are distinct conditions; silence in a notice does not establish that proof is unnecessary.

## Case summaries and source documents

Case summaries use /settlements/<slug>. Where a source notice is available, the page links to its PDF and extracted plain text at the corresponding .pdf and .txt URLs. The extracted notice text is a source document, not a Markdown version of the site's summary or Q&A. Extraction can lose layout or formatting; the PDF and official source remain important for interpretation.
